According to the San Francisco Examiner, The University of Colorado-Boulder’s journalism school has the possibility of closing down and to just be offered as journalism education. The program will remain until a second committee, who is looking at other options, will present its findings by Dec. 31.
This isn’t the only thing that is taking a nose dive.
The Washington Independent, an online newspaper that has won several awards, is closing down after only three years. Aaron Wiener, who writes for The Washington Independent, wrote an article talking about how it is ending.
