Based on statistics throughout Reggie Bush’s 2005 career he deserves to keep the Heisman Trophy. CNN.com has made a big deal in the sports world about Reggie Bush choice to return the Heisman Trophy. He lost it due to him and his family accepting gifts. Reggie Bush’s actions and the rules for the Heisman trophy being you can’t accept anything is something I believe they should have sympathy for. The reason why I feel sympathy should be given is because there’s no telling the lifestyle Bush was living or the lifestyle he might have lived growing up. A lot of athletes get put into this situation but many don’t know how to go about these things because majority of them probably came from a low level of life, and when something is handed to them, they’ll probably take it. — Dennis Beale

Yes, I think Reggie deserves to keep the Heisman Trophy. He has earned it and accepting a gift, although a violation, is not a performance-affecting dealbreaker.
I agree also because he performed to the best of his ability and earned it.
Agreed with both previous comments. The NCAA justifiably came down hard on USC, but for Reggie Bush to give back his Heisman trophy is irrelevant to the fact that he had a great season for USC that year.
